This initiative is targeted towards students from kindergarten to grade 8. In this challenge, the goal is for the students to run or walk 40km over the last 5 weeks of school. Each classroom receives a log book to keep track of the student’s kilometers. For each 5km the students complete, they receive a colorful shoe tag. The challenge finishes with the “Mango Kids Fun Run” where students can complete the final 2.2km together as a group. Each student that participates in the final run get a mango t-shirt and a medal.
