Launch of Community Garden Best Practices Toolkit

On August 19th, 2016 the NB Food Security Action Network and HEPAC launched their “Community Garden Best Practices Toolkit” at Carrefour communautaire Beausoleil’s own community garden in Miramichi, New Brunswick. Carrefour Beausoleil’s community garden brings together seniors and youth from the elementary school and daycare located within the centre – a touching example of a beautiful intergenerational initiative. Minister responsible for Seniors and Long-Term Care Lisa Harris was present to show her support.
